Welcome to beyond my kitchen, the less food-focused part of my blog! Here's a little background about why I started this blog and what I hope to gain from it:

  • It's 2017 and I feel like everything is documented on the internet. As much as I love an hour addictively scrolling through instagram (not), I want to write and share in a place where there is a lot less comparison, value given to "likes", etc.
     
  • I'm starting my online course at the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, where I will be learning to create my own delicious recipes and I want a place that I can share them with my friends and family!
     
  • I just made a HUGE move from Boston (where I've been for the last 5 years) to Dublin, Ireland and I want to, again, share with friends and family about my time abroad.
     
  • Life is moving really fast, and one of my favorite things to do is look back on what I've done and where I've been. By taking the time to reflect and recap what's happening in my life, I hope to slow down and enjoy where I am, even when things get crazy.
